Becky & Nick’s Fun-Filled Wedding at the Ceridwen Centre

There are so many things we love about being South Wales wedding photographers and videographers, but right at the top of the list? Couples like Becky & Nick. We first met them at their pre-wedding shoot at Llyn Brianne Reservoir, and within about 10 minutes, we knew their wedding was going to be an absolute blast.

And it was. From start to finish.

On the morning of the wedding, we arrived at the Ceridwen Centre in full sunshine (a solid win for May in Wales!). This eco-friendly, award-winning farm is nestled in the West Wales countryside near Llandysul and is a favourite of ours for a reason. It’s relaxed, outdoorsy, and packed with personality. Plus, there's a double-decker bus you can actually sleep in. What’s not to love?

Becky and her bridal party were in great spirits, buzzing with excitement and a touch of fizz. Hair was by Ria, makeup by Amy, and the coordinated robes were a solid 10/10. We also popped over to see Nick and the groomsmen, who were getting ready nearby and enjoying a cheeky pre-ceremony pint. Dressed in sharp three-piece suits from Next, paired with burnt orange ties and brogues, they looked great—and yes, the skipping-downhill moment was 100% Nick’s idea.

Church Ceremony at St Tysul’s, Llandysul

Becky looked stunning in an Elysee dress from Laura May Bridal—a halter-neck number with a soft flare that gave her a beautiful silhouette. Her bridesmaids wore burnt orange and carried rustic florals by Jill at Green and Wild Flowers. We love a bold colour palette, and this one popped perfectly in the images.

The ceremony took place in the ancient St Tysul’s Church in Llandysul—think stone walls, stained glass, and centuries of character. After confetti and hugs outside, we gathered everyone for group shots before heading back to Ceridwen Centre for the reception.

Laidback Reception Vibes at Ceridwen Centre

Back at the venue, the courtyard was full of sunshine, drinks were flowing, and guests were playing lawn games (not just the kids!). We took Becky and Nick away for a short, relaxed portrait session around the grounds—with sunglasses on and beers in hand. At Nick’s request, we even worked a bottle of Wrexham Lager into the shots—just in case Ryan Reynolds happens to scroll by.

Later, speeches were heartfelt and hilarious. Becky, Nick, the best men Jack & Matt, and Becky’s dad Paul all took to the mic. There was also a raffle featuring a full-size cardboard cut-out of Harry Styles that kept mysteriously appearing in the background of nearly every shot. Naturally, surrounded by women.

Newly married happy wedding couple sat on hay bales at the Ceridwen Centre in Carmarthenshire. Both smiling and holding bottles of Newport lager.

Live Music, Sunset & Festoon Lights

After the wedding meal, singer-songwriter Jessie Dipper performed a live acoustic set in the courtyard. Guests relaxed, danced barefoot in the grass, and soaked up the West Wales sunshine.

As golden hour hit, we whisked Becky and Nick away for a few more portraits in that soft, golden light. Then the entire wedding party followed the festoon-lit pathway to the top field to watch the sunset—Jessie playing, people hugging, laughing, and loving life. Hands down, our favourite part of the day. And the photos? Magic.

Party Time with Guest DJs

Once the sun dipped behind the hills, everyone headed back to the barn where the dancefloor was already heating up. Nick and his friends Mikey, Kay, James—and of course Nick himself—took turns DJing. They nailed it. No cheesy wedding disco here, just banger after banger and a room full of people dancing and singing their hearts out.

A huge thank you to Becky & Nick for letting us be part of your epic day at the Ceridwen Centre. From sunshine to sunset, it was the kind of wedding that reminds us why we do this job. Laidback, love-filled, and bursting with personality. More of this, please.

An amazing bespoke, outdoorsy boho wedding for Becky and Nick who proved that you really can have your wedding done your way.  Congratulations to both of you and thanks for having us there, we loved it!

If, like Becky and Nick, you’re having your wedding at Ceridwen Centre, and are looking for experienced Ceridwen Centre wedding photographers and videographers, then feel free to get in touch.  We’d love to hear about your wedding plans.

We’ll leave the last words with Becky and Nick.  Here are their thoughts on us

“We want to let you know how bowled over we are with the pictures. “We love you. … This is all amazing and we will be up until the early hours enjoying all this. Our line managers might not be too keen on you either tomorrow but hey ho!  We watched the 4min film - it looks AMAZING. Nick & Becky x”
