Ceridwen Centre, Fun Wedding Photos + Video, West Wales.
Wedding photography + film from the Ceridwen Centre in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.
Becky & Nick’s fun fuelled day. The best thing about being South Wales wedding photographers and videographers, is getting to meet and work with lovely couples like Becky and Nick. We first met these two when we captured their pre-wedding shoot at Llynn Brianne reservoir. (all of our wedding packages include a pre wedding photoshoot.) And they were so much fun that day we knew their wedding day would be a blast.
On the day, we woke to sunshine and headed over to Ceridwen Centre to capture some morning of the wedding images and film of Becky and her bridal party. Ceridwen Centre is a multi-award-winning family run eco-sensitive farm in rural west Wales who specialise in outdoor green weddings (right up our street!)
We love capturing wedding photography at Ceridwen Centre as we love the relaxed outdoorsy feel of it and all the places’ guests can hang out. Oh, and we love the double decker bus converted into guest accommodation. Who doesn’t want to intentionally fall asleep on a bus for once!
Becky and her bridal party were in great spirits and in the capable hands of hairstylist Ria and make-up artist Amy. There was a real fizz of excitement in the air and we got some fun images (we loved the coordinated robes ladies!)
We also caught up with Nick and his grooms party who were getting ready in a nearby cottage and walked to Ceridwen Centre to enjoy a cheeky beer before heading off to the church. They were very chilled and looked smart in dark three piece suits from Next that they wore with burnt orange colour ties and brown brogue shoes. Please note, the crazy down hill groomsmen skipping shot in the film, was most definitely Nick’s idea!!

By now, Becky and her bridal party were ready. Becky looked stunning in an Elysee dress that she bought at Laura May Bridal. It’s flattering halter neck style with a gently body skimming shape that fanned out a little at the bottom perfectly fitted her petite frame and gave Becky an amazing silhouette in all of our images and film.
Becky was THE happiest and most relaxed bride and beamed all day. Us Pembrokeshire wedding photographers do love a smiley bride! Bridesmaids looked elegant in burnt orange dresses with stylish bouquets created by Jill from Green and Wild Flowers.
The wedding ceremony was held in the ancient church of St Tysuls Church in the pretty town of Llandysul. The churches ancient stone walls and stained-glass windows were both very photogenic and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos and film.
After the ceremony, there was a fun confetti moment outside and we took the chance to capture some great group images of the wedding party before everybody headed off to Ceridwen Centre for the reception.
On arrival, everybody enjoyed a drinks reception in the sunshine and there were some outdoor games to keep the young, and not so young amused. We whisked Becky and Nick (sunglasses on and a beer in hand!) away for a few minutes for a fun relaxed photo shoot around the beautiful woodlands of Ceridwen Centre. We got some amazing images, especially featuring the Wrexham lager at Nick’s request, in hope of Ryan Reynolds seeing it...

We then rejoined everybody who were having the best time and got some great candid images. Before food there were some very well received speeches by Becky, Nick, Nick’s best men Jack and Matt and Becky’s dad Paul.
A full size cardboard cut out of Harry Styles kept on making an appearance during a very enthusiastic raffle, and true to form was constantly surrounded by women.
The wedding meal was followed by a live acoustic performance by Jessie from Jessie Dipper Music in the courtyard area and guests happily milled about enjoying the late afternoon sunshine. Evening celebrations started with a first dance for Becky and Nick which we captured perfectly. Not that they were out there alone for long as their guests were keen to join them.
By now, it was the golden hour, when, just before sun sets, the sun is at its lowest creating a soft hazy light perfect for romantic wedding photos. So, we quickly whisked Becky and Nick away for a few minutes and got some really romantic sunset images. Everybody then headed to the top field via an enchanting pathway lit with festoon lights to watch the sunset, whilst again Jessie Dipper performed for everybody. It was our favourite part of the day and definitely produced some of the best images and film. The atmosphere was so chilled and beautiful. It was a real moment.
After the sun had set, everybody headed back indoors where Nick and his friends took turns to DJ. It was perfect as they already knew what the crowd wanted to hear, so everybody was dancing and singing along all night! DJ’s were Mikey, Nick, Kay, James and of course Nick. And we would like to personally take this opportunity to thank you all for not subjecting us to yet another cheesy wedding disco!
An amazing bespoke, outdoorsy boho wedding for Becky and Nick who proved that you really can have your wedding done your way. Congratulations to both of you and thanks for having us there, we loved it!

We’ll leave the last words with Becky and Nick. Here are their thoughts on us
“We want to let you know how bowled over we are with the pictures. “We love you. … This is all amazing and we will be up until the early hours enjoying all this. Our line managers might not be too keen on you either tomorrow but hey ho! We watched the 4min film - it looks AMAZING. Nick & Becky x”
