Jenny & Jon’s Relaxed Spring Wedding in Swansea - Informal wedding photography & videography with rom-com energy

Wedding couple in white heart sunglasses running through a field lit by a setting sun in Swansea.

Being Swansea wedding photographers and videographers means we get to hang out with some absolute legends—and Jenny & Jon were no exception. From our pre-wedding shoot with them in the sand dunes at Llangennith to their wedding day itself, these two brought nothing but fun, joy, and a whole lot of heart.

On their gloriously sunny spring wedding day, we headed to Jenny’s house to kick off with bridal prep photos. The vibe? Pure happiness. Jenny’s bridesmaids were in matching PJs, the prosecco was already flowing, and hair and makeup were in the expert hands of Hobo Hair Design and Farhana Ali.

Wedding photography at Clyne Chapel & Clyne Gardens

Jenny’s Pronovias dress was an absolute showstopper—V-neck, fitted bodice, and layers of skirt that moved like magic in the light. Her bouquet, crafted by West End Florist, featured soft pinks and golden tones that paired perfectly with her rose gold bridesmaids’ dresses.

We then made our way to Clyne Chapel, a Grade II-listed building tucked into the grounds of Clyne Gardens. There we caught up with Jon and his best man/brother Alex—both looking dapper in light sage green check suits from Moss Bros. Bonus points to Jon for pulling off the NYC cool vibe.

The ceremony was small, sweet, and intimate, with Jenny walked down the aisle by her mum and a lovely reading by Jon’s sister Tabetha.

Afterwards, we took Jenny and Jon into the botanical gardens for their couple portraits—and let’s just say they nailed the assignment. Even when a rogue Cavapoo gate-crashed the shoot, Jon handled it like a pro (we got it all on film). Also worth noting: Jenny’s a vet. She barely blinked at the idea of muddy paw prints on her dress. Iconic.

Wedding reception at Morgans Hotel Swansea

The party then moved to Morgans Hotel for drinks, dinner, and speeches. With laughs, happy tears, and one reworded Smokie classic (“Who the f** is Jen?*”), it had everything you want from a relaxed, informal reception.

But the real fun kicked off at Uplands Rugby Club, where Jenny and Jon made their entrance to a whooping crowd of evening guests before heading out for one of our favourite moments of the day—running through the sunset-drenched grass in matching heart-shaped sunnies like a rom-com scene. Those shots? Pure gold. Think galloping, giggling, chaos—and totally them.

Dancefloor chaos, wedding crocs, and all the vibes

First dance done and dusted, The Uptones lit up the floor with their first set—and Jenny led the charge like a pro. She and her bridesmaids had been dancing to Jai Ho all day long, so by the time evening rolled around, they were more than ready to show off their moves… in white wedding Crocs, no less. Yes, really.

Late-night sets came courtesy of DJ Ben Williams, who kept the energy up and the dancefloor packed well into the night. From heartfelt moments to hilarious chaos, this one had everything.

Jenny & Jon, you absolute legends.
Here’s what Jenny had to say after watching the videos:

“You two are incredible. We just watched the videos – I am once again crying.” – Jen

That’s why we do it. Natural, relaxed storytelling for couples who just want to have the best time with their favourite people—and look damn good doing it.
