Honor & Nick’s beautiful yet simple micro wedding photographed in Cardiff.

We first met the wonderful Honor & Nick at another wedding we were filming and photographing in South Wales, when we asked if we could pop their little boy, Yves, into a bicycle basket for a cute photo. They loved it—so did we!

For their own wedding, they wanted a beautifully simple day: a heartfelt church ceremony at St Mary of the Angels in Pontcanna, followed by a few photos together at a local Cardiff park, and ending with a celebratory glass of fizz and a meal with friends. No fuss, no stress—just love and good times. What we would label a micro wedding!

After their intimate ceremony, they walked through the city to their reception at Thomas, a cozy French restaurant in Cardiff. Along the way, we made a quick pit stop at a hidden little garden, tucked between streets, taking candid photographs along the way. It reminded us of the park in the Paddington films—small, charming, and absolutely perfect for a stroll (and a few beautiful wedding photos).

Newly married Nick gave a heartfelt speech, followed by a few words from Honor’s father, Roger. But as for formalities? That was it. Just great food, lots of laughs, and an evening filled with love, check out their wedding photos below.
