Emma and Josh’s wedding in Brecon was an absolute dream! From the first moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be an unforgettable celebration. Their wedding took place at a charming converted farm in Talgarth, with stunning views of Pen Y Fan mountain and the Brecon countryside. This venue was especially meaningful to Emma and Josh, who come from farming families, making it the perfect setting for their day.
The barn was transformed into a colorful wonderland! From vibrant wildflowers and hand-dyed pampas grasses to charming bunting in bold pinks and oranges, every detail was a nod to the couple’s fun-loving personalities. It was all about creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the decor definitely delivered. The feasting-style dining setup created by Epic Caterers was an absolute hit, allowing guests to indulge in delicious dishes while enjoying the lively and relaxed vibe of the day.
One of the highlights for us was the “A Whole Lot of Love” mural on the barn’s wall. Not only was it a beautiful focal point, but it also tied in perfectly with the couple’s venue name! Plus, the breathtaking views over Brecon’s hills and the farm’s sheep-filled fields created the perfect backdrop for the couple’s wedding photos and videos.
Speaking of sheep, let’s not forget Gary, the ultimate wedding party crasher! As we were capturing group shots, Gary decided to make an appearance, adding even more personality to an already unique celebration. The funniest part? The bride’s dad is also named Gary, so this surprise guest was met with plenty of laughs.
As the night wore on, the fun continued! County Kings band got everyone on the dance floor, while the Gower Dough pizza truck rolled in to serve up delicious pizzas under festoon lights in the courtyard. The whole evening was filled with great music, tasty food, and A WHOLE LOT of love.
