Outdoor Fairyhill wedding ceremony in South Wales. Wedding photography & videography in Swansea with some nerdy touches.

Embracing on top of a clifftop called Worm's Head in Rhossili, a bride and groom in a close embrace are having their wedding photos, a black and white edit, the groom has long hair and the indian bride has henna decorated arms.

Magical Fairyhill outdoor ceremony with subtle touches of everything geek for Zara & Scott in their South Wales wedding gallery of photos & short film.

Beautiful in black and white, Zara & Scott having their wedding photographs at Rhossili with Worm’s Head in the background.

Before I write a blog, I tend to reel off a bullet point list of the quirks and details that stood out from the day.

The list for Zara & Scott's wedding got long, quickly.  I remembered geeking out at movie themed terrariums, a ring-holding Pokémon “gotta catch ‘em all” ball, and the black based three tier cake which could only be a reference to 'a galaxy far far away' to go with the Han Solo/Leia “I love you. I know” quote written on the light box.

AND then, there were two of the cutest, fluffiest Pomeranian dogs that elicited squeals of joy on wavelengths not audible to the human ear.

Quoted from their pre-wedding details, “We want to try to include our nerdy sides, love of food and interest in nature. Some small elements of Indian culture will be incorporated for the bride.“

Did I mention, there were no children present BUT they still had a flower man? Stealing the show, with each mincing catwalk stride down the aisle, equal to any cute little flower girl I've ever seen. It took commitment to the role, and oh wow, did he pull it off with flare and all the sass!

As the evening changeover was made at Fairyhill, it felt like being introduced to the second act. Scott’s hair meant business, going up into a knot, and Zara revealed a complete change of outfit into an Indian bridal two piece sparkling with simple sequin detailing. It went beautifully with the henna patterns on her arms and forearms, painted by Farhana Ali in the morning.

I can safely say, their day was 100% completely and utterly Zara and Scott.  Their personalised wedding vows, when read aloud to one another, offered sweet insights into their daily lives, Scott revealing “I’m Excited to marry Zara, she keeps life interesting and plans the best trips. And, to finally share my surname with her and the dogs”.

Zara declaring,  "I'm Excited to be marrying not only my best friend, and love, but also my adventure buddy, plus he tolerates all my weird! I Can't wait to start this new adventure with him."
