Fairyhill, the perfect setting for Alice & Mike’s wedding photos & film in Swansea.

If you’ve read my previous blogs, you may have read (or skipped passed) my ramblings about the importance of clicking with your chosen photographer & videographer.

That’s why we always include a pre-wedding shoot, always include bridal prep for the morning - It gets you used to the camera following you about, the way we work, Jess’ constant singing & generally breaks the ice for everyone & it allows us to find out where we fit within your comfort barriers. It may not be obvious straight away when you’re searching for your photographer / videographer but if you think about the trust you put in those people and the amount of time you’ll spend with them on a VERY important day, it makes sense to have the right ones. When folk are comfortable, you can really tell with the final images, which essentially is what it’s all about.

So my very long and drawn out point is all linked to Alice & Mike’s wedding, their day, their families and how we all fitted perfectly together. The connection was amazing, we all laughed the entire wedding day at Fairyhill - resulting in effortlessly natural images, not just for the couple but their family and friends too.
Joining in on jokes and the emotions of the day makes us feel apart of your day, that’s what makes us love our jobs even more. We aren’t just there to create awesome imagery, we also take away memories from every wedding and these two, are certainly going on our Christmas card list.

So when Alice & Mike near enough got taken off their feet by the wind in Llangennith sand dunes, we laughed about it, got out of the sand as quick as possible and hit up plan B. Now… We aren’t talking the type of wind which gently blows the veil for a romantic effect, we’re talking 60mph gale forced winds causing the veil to swirl 360 degrees in circles… It was a relief to get to Fairyhill, amongst all the beautiful forestry and take some relatively wind free images!
