Fairyhill K room wedding photography, Swansea | Lisa & Alex
Fairyhill wedding photos in Swansea | Kaleidoscope room celebrant ceremony.
Wedding photography blog by Amy Reed.
Whilst writing this blog and I’m still not 100% convinced I’ve recovered from the 90s rave that erupted during Lisa & Alex’s Fairyhill wedding, but I’ll get to that a little later...
If this was a F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode this would be called “The wedding, part II.”
The week before their Fairyhill wedding, Alex & Lisa officially tied the knot in Las Vegas with a handful of their closest friends! But Part II definitely wasn’t just a party, The K room at Fairyhill was the scene for their ceremony with their celebrant Helen from Treasured ceremonies. A very relaxed ceremony, full of laughter and jokes about putting the ring back on again! There was even a new dress for bride Lisa!
By 5.30pm Matt a.k.a “that guy I saw last night” ramped up the volume a few notches and using just a loop pedal created the most immense live medley of 90s dance music complete with some rapping! I took some really bad iPhone videos just to prove it all too! It didn't even end there, wedding band Los Devitos carried on the dancing momentum late into the night!
The proposal !!!: Alex didn’t get down on one knee but he did propose with an amazing ring on the pier in Santa Cruz, California.
What made you choose Fairyhill as your wedding venue? : We went to a wedding fair at Fairyhill and saw the virtual reality video of what the venue was going to look like when it was all finished.
The day at Fairyhill: Relaxed, little bit of tradition but no speeches or three course meal, music day and night, just want everyone to get drunk and dance and enjoy.
What happens next as newlyweds? : No honeymoon as had first wedding in Las Vegas. I would love to become a wedding planner.
Why did you pick Flashbulb to film/photograph your day? : Met Amy in wedding fair. She came across very friendly and relaxed and I liked the style of her photos.
Last one - do either of you have a party trick?: I can fit my whole fist in my mouth 😳
