West Wales LGBTQ Wedding photography - West Regwm Farm.

West Regwm Farm played host to the wedding of these two crazy cats, Laura & Chloe, on a VERY rainy day. An LGBT wedding with an LGBT wedding photographer.

A photography gallery to give a glimpse into their DIY wedding in West Wales.

Laura & Chloe were explicit: they wanted a simple, relaxed day with lots of partying among friends and family, with their wedding photos representing this. I’m not sure they quite wanted that much rain, but they didn’t complain about it once. We even went for a skip about, under umbrellas. The couple met just before they went down the aisle, in the alcohol storage container of all places. No frills, no fuss - it was hilarious, but as they said, it suited them to stand around surrounded by their favorite lager, Peroni.

It was a DIY wedding in terms of decor, with lots of crafting evenings spent stamping, tying, and rolling to bring together a simple yet thoughtful setup - mini bottles of port, Welsh cakes, personalized newspapers, and table place names. The venue’s empty converted barn is big enough for a couple hundred guests, but a blank space to do whatever your imagination can picture. Winnies Catering was brought in to supply homely hot food in the form of pies, roast potatoes, vegetables, and gravy, a perfect winter warmer.

Just as Laura and Chloe’s party kicked off with an ABBA tribute band, the celebration carried on from there.
