Swansea Christening Photography, Samlet Church.
Ava's christening photography in Swansea.
The snow may not have been on anyone’s guest list for mid-March, but it made Ava’s Christening feel extra magical. Flurries of white transformed the streets around Llansamlet Church into a soft, wintry scene – not quite spring, but beautiful all the same.
Inside the church, the atmosphere couldn’t have been warmer. The service was led by Priest Geraint, who brought such a lovely personal touch to the ceremony. Ava was surrounded by close family and friends, and there were plenty of quiet little moments – proud glances, happy tears, and lots of love – that made the morning feel extra special. The soft light filtering through the church windows, the hush before each reading, and the little coos from Ava (completely unfazed by the whole thing!) all added to the sense that this was a day worth remembering.
After the service, it was off to The Gower Golf Club in Three Crosses for a relaxed reception and lunch. The venue was beautifully styled by Purple Butterflies & Stars, with soft pastel decorations, thoughtful touches, and a real sense of celebration in the air. It was the perfect cosy setting to warm up, share stories, and raise a toast to baby Ava.
As always, we kept things documentary-style, blending into the background and capturing the little moments that make these milestone events so special – a grandparent’s proud smile, an excited cousin sneaking cake, and Ava getting plenty of cuddles from all directions.
