Married at Sant Ffraed house, the latest addition to the Oldwalls Collection, a luxury venue in Abergavenny complete with manicured lawns, a couple of swans and I’m sure we saw a unicorn somewhere; it’s pretty fancy to say the least.

Sam and Nathan tied the knot with their beloved golden retriever, Bhuna, as the adorable four-legged guest of honor. Bhuna stole the show with a stunning floral garland, adding a touch of whimsy to the celebration. The flowers a mix of deep burgundy, green and blush made up by Hillary’s Floral Design in Abergavenny.

We loved the idea of the wedding party all in matching colours but with a variation between dresses, suits, fabrics and even a jump-suit.

Samantha surprised guests by changing into a gorgeous Indian Sari to honor her relatives in India. The vibrant colors and intricate details of the ensemble, combined with the presence of aunties in layers of silk and bangles, brought a festive atmosphere to the event and an ease to photograph.

After using a RAF sword to slice into their three tier cake from Cakes Especially By Jennifer Leeb, a standout moment was their first dance, set to the tune of a Lady Gaga track from Top Gun: Maverick. The choice of song, with its subtle nod to the Navy aviator played by Tom Cruise in the film, added a touch of irony and charm to the dance.

After the first dance, the band Velvet Soul took the stage, and soon everyone joined in the celebration. The neon lighting background at Sant Ffraed makes for great dance-floor photographs. The wedding turned from a fun celebration into a lively party, with no lull in the dance moves being thrown across the K room.
