Fairyhill wedding videography and wedding photography - Rebecca & Dean, Swansea.

Timeless, elegant wedding photography and videography at
Fairyhill in Gower.

Blog written by Swansea wedding photographer, Amy Reed.

“Amy and Jess were amazing! They were everything we wanted for our big day. From the start they kept us comfortable and made us feel at ease. We’re not the most relaxed couple in front of the camera so having a team that understood and worked with us on it was fantastic! On the day itself the process was amazing. Nothing was awkward or posed and they just did their thing around us, which has resulted in the photos and videos being exactly what we wanted. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you both for making our memories perfect xx”

Creative wedding videography from Fairyhill in Swansea.

Naturally captured wedding videography highlights from Rebecca and Deans perfect day in Fairyhill, Swansea.

Cake for breakfast is the best start to a wedding day, especially when it’s your birthday and you’re photographing a wedding!!! I (Amy) also had cake with a candle for lunch, but that’s just bragging!

Anyway...

Fairyhill is the most spectacular of venues, the main space for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts is known as the Kaleidoscope Room (K Room for short.)
A semi circular design made up of glass. A structure that is so naturally beautiful you can do as little or much decorating as you like and it will always look perfect.

When the sun shines (especially lucky in February), The room is even more radiant as the light shines through the glass, creating an infinity of glimmering reflections like it’s namesake. All this makes Fairyhill the perfect wedding photography venue! Rebecca and Dean chose a timeless elegant theme for their wedding day featuring simple splashes of dusky pinks and dark purples. Touches of foliage amongst the decor acting as a parallel, bringing a piece of the outside in and vice versa.

The elegance extended to ever member of the wedding party. The groom and groomsmen, were all sporting black tuxedos from
Dyfed menswear, the bridesmaids wore a deep purple and Rebecca, the bride, stunned in a classic but beautifully backless dress from Eva Ashley in Swansea. Although, when it came to the wedding car, instead of squishing all the layers of the dress inside, she opted to arrive in the back of her Dad’s van. A practical choice considering it had MUCH more space & a case of cider incase she got thirsty on the journey from Mulberry House.

It’s safe to say the romantic day Rebecca & Dean imagined came together faultlessly. (Even if Dean was caught on camera, legs akimbo, on top of a sheep)

As you’ll see from their wedding photos and videos below at Fairyhill in Swansea, their day was blessed with unexpected sunshine and surely there isn’t a better way to start a marriage than that.
