Rhossili cliff-top elopement photos in South Wales.

Wedding photography, a cliff top ceremony at Rhossili, Gower Coastline.

Elopement wedding photographs outdoors in South Wales.

Frankie & Tom's elopement on the Gower coastline was nothing short of adventurous and windswept. Overlooking Worm’s Head and Rhossili Bay, they braved the remnants of hurricane Lee for their handfasting ceremony.

Despite the picturesque photos, the true star of the day was the wild wind. With the help of celebrant Lisa Kendall, the couple exchanged personal vows, rings, and participated in the traditional handfasting ritual.

Flashbulb Photography & Videography LOVE adventures, and this elopement was no exception. Laughter filled the air as just a few family members witnessed the couple's union in the midst of the storm.

While Frankie and Tom shivered in the cold, their warm coats remained on their family members. Frankie's boho-style dress from Australia added a touch of elegance to the rugged scenery, despite the goosebumps.

The plan was simple; get married on a clifftop, have a few photos on the beach and celebrate with some fizz before going for a family meal.

The weather took a turn for the worse and so, as a go with the flow type couple, and an easygoing photo + video team, we called it quits for the day with the plan to reconvene later in the week, if possible.

Enjoying adventure no.1 so much and with the weather on our side, we all headed back to the beach and Frankie & Tom even got photos running along the beach that they’d imagined having.

As you’ll see in the gallery below, it was a lot of fun, we all got wet from the sea and the champagne spraying everywhere. Plus, we all went away with a story to tell of battling Lee, challenging weather, navigating cliffs and managing to get a wedding dress so perfectly clean in just a day. A truly magical experience without anyone catching a cold.

With or without Storm Lee, we offer a photography and videography hourly rate, which is ideal for couples planning their own elopement adventure or micro wedding.
