Mumbles wedding photography, church ceremony at All Saints & over 1000 origami cranes to decorate at a Mumbles Cricket Club wedding reception in Swansea.

Amy & James, married at All Saints Church in Mumbles followed by a reception and their couples photographs at Mumbles Cricket club next door to the Zeta-Jones residence in Swansea. 

They opted for a simple, relaxed wedding with minimal fuss but plenty of handmade features, the 1000’s of multi-coloured origami cranes being a decor highlight. Japanese wedding tradition believes that if you make over a thousand paper cranes for your day, supposedly bringing blessings for a long & happy marriage. A superstition first printed in literature as early as 1797.

Guests were welcomed with canapes, washed down with a little lemon salt and tequila shot! That went down a storm.

Arriving at the reception in style, in an iconic red double-decker bus from the Swansea bus museum. When the weather became a little drizzly, the bus also made a great prop to use for the wedding photographs.
